Teaching

My teaching has been focused on helping students to understand more clearly how the material conditions of their reading and writing may ultimately shape their skills and experiences. Digital publishing and research are core to my undergraduate syllabi, and I believe strongly in empowering students to become both critically and functionally literate. In my years of teaching at UC Davis, I’ve taught as the instructor of record in face-to-face, hybrid, and online environments and at both the lower and upper-division levels.
